Stewardship
What do you think of when you see that world? Many of us think immediately of money. We recall that time in our congregation’s life when we are asked to make a financial commitment for the coming year. At some level however we are aware that stewardship is more than money. Stewardship is how we live our calling as followers of Christ. Stewardship is what we do after we say that we believe.
God has placed greatness on the inside of every single person. That greatness is realized through serving. Jesus says, “Whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant.” Mark 10:43. Serving will make us great! It releases the call of God on our lives. God can use us to represent His name and make an impact on our lives and the lives of others.
