NEW MEMBER CLASSES “Connecting to JPC” new member classes are offered two or three times each year for prospective members or current members desiring to learn more about our church as well as the greater Presbyterian Church. Prospective members DO NOT have to attend a new member class in order to join. EXPECTATIONS OF NEW MEMBERS Individuals who are ready to join the Jamestown Presbyterian Church are asked to sign the following card upon joining: As a member of Jamestown Presbyterian Church I commit to:
_____Attend worship Services regularly
_____Contribute financially working toward a tithe
_____Participate in one ministry within the church and one outreach ministry.

FIRST FRIENDS Each individual or family who joins JPC is assigned a “First Friend” as a mentor to answer questions, introduce to the different programs and ministries in the church and accompany to special events when appropriate. HOW TO JOIN An individual or family who is ready to join may do so by one of the following methods in consultation with the Pastor or Director of Visitation.

  • Tranfer of Letter from another Christian Church
  • Profession of Faith
  • Reaffirmation of Faith
